Moby

When I hear the name Moby, the first thing that comes through my head is innovation. Moby (Richard Melville Hall) played Hardcore Punk in the 80's, moved to Techno and Breakbeat and tried his luck in EDM, Electronica, Ambient  and a lot of more music styles. His Eleventh studio album Innocents, which was released a few days ago, is based on collaborations with various artists such as Mark Lanegan, Damien Jurado, Skylar Grey, Wayne Coyne (Of The Flaming Lips) and others. For my opinion, it's his best album since Play (1999), so take a little break to hear three new songs from this album and two earlier releases of this talented artist.

We all do mistakes. Some of them are big (Natalie Imbruglia), some of them are ours (Smashing Pumpkins); Sometimes it's just a mistake (Moby), sometimes it's an honnest (?!) one (The Bravery) and sometimes we keep doing it (The Beautiful Girls). One thing is for sure, we'd rather avoid them...

Blue (Pick Word #30)

Mark Lanegan (Collaborations #1)

Mark Lanegan is kind of musical Chameleon. You can find him singing with one group on Sunday, Listen to another cooperation on Monday and then forget it all when you hear him with the third band on Tuesday. Some of the critiques compare him to legendary Tom Waits, with whom he shares the experimental standpoint and the cigarette-crooked voice. Staring with the Screaming Trees in the mid-80's, he joined Queens Of The Stone Age for three albums and then found new home in the arms of former Belle And Sebastian singer, Isobel Campbell. It seems that he's never get tired of creating music and continue to innovate every day by joining new collaboration. So for his new collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Duke Garwood, with whom he'll release on 15 of May their debut album Black Pudding, here are five collaborative songs which I like.

We all born and raise on stories like Little Red Cap where the red fox (Known as Vulpes Vulpes) plays the role of the bad character. Suffering from a bad public relations along history, the fox is not that bad as it was drown in our childhood. There are about 12 kinds of species which we can define as "True foxes", some of them had been domesticated by human beings.
