Weekend Candy: 13 Of April 2013

So the weekend is getting closer and it it's time to sum up some of the songs I've heard last week. What we've got here today are songs from the new albums, which were released lately by Kurt Vile, James Blake and OMD (Yes, they're still alive...) We also mention to albums which celebrated anniversary last week: Murmur by REM which celebrated 30 years and Bring It On by Gomez, which celebrated its 15th anniversary. Weekend Candies: 30 Of March, 2013

Another week with great music has passed and there are few tracks that I liked this past week. What we've got is two songs from great albums from the 90's: So Young from Suede's debut album, which celebrates Suede's 20 years anniversary and This Is Hardcore From Pulp's This Is Hardcore album, which  celebrates 15 years anniversary. I also listed J Masics and Sharon Van-Etten cover version to John Denver's Prisoners. Three songs are from albums that were released last week by Depeche Mode, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Strokes. Weekend Candy: 22 Of March 2013

The weekend is approaching and it's time to take a rest, lay back and listen to new music tracks in our free time. This weekend candy contains 13 songs - three of them are dedicated for great albums anniversary such as Where Is My Mind from Pixies' debut full LP called Surfer Rosa that is celebrating 25 years anniversary; Walking In My Shoes from Depeche Mode's Songs Of Faith And Devotion that is celebrating 20 years anniversary and the release of The Vaselines' EP which features fabulous Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam which happened 25 years ago. At the end of the list you can find one of the great songs of Jason Molina who passed away last week, leaving some of his fans shocked by that news.
