2013: Top 60 So Far (Part #3): Places 31-40

So we've passed 20 albums so far: Places 51-60 and Places 41-50 so it's time to move on to the next 10 albums, which were worth listening in the past half year.

Number 40: Depeche Mode - Delta Machine

Who Are They? A Veteran New Wave/ Dark Wave Trio from Basildon (13th album)
Why? Because they're still one of the most influencing bands in my life....

Who Are They? A veteran American Indie Rock Trio from Minnestoa (10th album)
Why? Because of the great melodies and beautiful lyrics

Who Is She? An Indie Folk singer from Illinois (2nd album)
Why? Because of her Folky attitude and personal songs

Who Are They? An Electronic Brooklyn-based duo (2nd album)
Why? Because if there is still trip hop, it must sound like this

Who Are They? A collaboration of M. Ward and Zooey Daschanel (4th album)
Why? Because they are getting better from one recording to the other

Who Is He? An Icelandic composer and multi-instrumentalist (4th album)
Why? Because it's make me feel like I'm sitting next to a bonfire in the middle of Icelandic winter

Number 34: Mount Kimbie - Cold Spring Fault Less Youth

Who Are They? An English London-based Dubstep duo (2nd album)
Why? Because they where the second best Dubstep album so far this year

Number 33: Austra - Olympia

Who Are They? A Canadian Toronto-based Electronic band (2nd album)
Why? Because of the special voice of Katie Stelmanis and the 80's-like sound

Number 32: Widowspeak - Almanc

Who Are They? An Indie Rock band from Brooklyn (2nd album)
Why? One of the new surprises of this year

Number 31: Iron & Wine

Who Is He? Talented Samuel Beam from South Carolina (5th album)
Why? Because everything he touches turn to gold (Even though he made better records before)

Weekend Candies: Playlist for 20 of April, 2013

 
This weekend we celebrate "Record Store Day", which was officially founded in 2007, so we've got three collaborations, which were formed especially for this day: Mark Lanegan And Moby, Sebastien Tellier And Caroline Polachek (From Chairlift) and Garbage with Screaming Females.
On our blast from the past section, we've got two songs from Aerosmith's Get A Grip (20 years anniversary) and Massive Attack's Mezzanine (15 years anniversary). Yoy can also find in this playlist two wonderful tributes: For Nick Drake by Luluc and for Jason Molina by Mark Kozelek.
